Apexazole®C Coating Series PBI Resin
The Apexazole®C coating series of PBI resins are fully aromatic, high-performance polymers featuring a backbone containing repeating benzimidazole heterocyclic units. They are soluble in polar aprotic solvents, yielding stable, coatable PBI solutions that, upon curing, form dense coatings or thin films that are both infusible and insoluble, with exceptional resistance to high temperatures and chemicals. These materials offer precisely controllable molecular weights, excellent solubility, uniform film formation, and strong adhesion, while retaining the intrinsic superior properties of PBI after cure.
